FEB 18, 2005 (newstodate): Russian airline Pulkovo has reportedly negotiated a lease agreement with IFLC to take in a total of 18 AN-148 aircraft.
The leasing contract, to be formally signed by the end of next month, covers a 15 years period, with the first three aircraft to be delivered in 2006.
The influx of new aircraft will allow the airline to phase out its current fleet of ageing TU-134 aircraft.
Earlier this year, Pulkovo signed a five years lease contract for two Boeing 737-500 aircraft, scheduled for delivery by mid-June this year.
