MAR 29, 2005 (newstodate): From the implementation of this year's summer schedule, Aeroflot will increase frequencies and add new routes to its network.
Frequencies will increase by 36 percent on an average, notably on routes to Paris, Rome, Milan, Sophia, Zagreb, Venice, Athens, Delhi, Mumbai, Bucharest, Shanghai, Peking, Ulan Bator, Dubai, Beirut, Damascus, but also on domestic routes to Sochi, Ufa, Chelyabinsk, Ekaterinburg, Krasnodar, Kaliningrad, Mineralnye Vody and on routes to CIS-destinations Bishkek, Tbilisi and Baku.
In summer schedule all Aeroflot flights to CIS countries will depart from Sheremetyevo-2 Airport, and from March 27 Aeroflot flights to Baku and Tashkent will switch to this airport as well.
The summer schedule will include operations with a total of 73 Aeroflot aircraft.
