MAR 01l, 2005 (newstodate): The return of competition in air cargo handling at Copenhagen Airport is well received by airlines.
Last week WFS announced its decision to set up a new cargo handling terminal at the airport and start operations from February 2006 already.
-We welcome competition to return to this airport as it always brings with it an enhanced price/quality ratio and more transparency, says Kim Irmov, Singapore Airlines Cargo Manager Nordic & Baltic.
-We have no immediate plans to reconsider our current choice of cargo handling provider, but we will of course always keep a close eye on developments and see to it that our company always settles for the optimal solution, he says.
