MAR 15, 2005 (newstodate): Refuting rumours that it is faced with economic difficulties and strained relations with EBRD, Moldova's Chisinau Airport is planning to pay back debts ahead of schedule.
The airport has completed a modernisation project backed by a nine million US dollar loan from EBRD in 1998.
The airport has now reportedly paid half of the loan, including one million earlier than planned.
Chisinau Airport hopes to have cleared all debts by 2009, two years earlier than required.
