APR 06, 2005 (newstodate): Russian carrier Vladivostok Avia will reportedly take in three more TU-204-300 during the first half of this year in addition to the one already commissioned by the airline in December, 2004.
Certification of the new long-range aircraft is now being completed after the latest tests under winterly conditions in Siberia.
The TU-204-300 first called at Vladivostok Airport on October 8, 2004, during its first test flight on the route Moscow-Vladivostok.
Eventually, Vladivostok Avia will replace its entire fleet of TU-154 with TU-204-300 aircraft under a leasing agreement with Ilyushin Finance Company.
