Jan 10, 2006 (newstodate): Earlier rumours that Singapore Airlines will open a new route to Moscow have now been confirmed.
Services will start from March 1 from Singapore to Moscow Domodedovo Airport via Dubai, operating Boeing 777-200 aircraft on the route.
An air service agreement between the two countries is already in place, but it was long undecided if the carrier would operate directly nonstop to Moscow, or via a second point.
