Oct 30, 2006 (newstodate): With effect from October 9, the Ukrainean carrier ACR, Aero Charter Airlines has launched a new scheduled freighter route between Kiev, Ukraine, and Leipzig, Germany.
The route is operated daily with AN-12 cargo aircraft under the carrier's contract with DHL.
Another scheduled freighter service by ACR is operated since September 15 between Kiev and Luxembourg with AN-26 and AN-12 aircraft.
ACR also operates an own scheduled road feeder service to deliver and pick up cargo at any destination in Ukraine, with 2-3 days lead time from Luxembourg.
ACR operates a fleet of three Antonov-26 and three Antonov-12 freighters on scheduled and charter cargo flights, in addition to six Yak-40 aircraft used on VIP, business, and air-taxi flights.
