Nov 30, 2006 (newstodate): Finnair Cargo is seeing good initial results from the new route between Delhi and Helsinki operated since November 1, 2006.
According to the carrier's Indian cargo GSA, Global Aviation Services, 64 percent of ex-India traffic to date has been destined for Finland and Scandinavia, while the remainder was for Europe and the C.I.S. markets.
Major commodities from India are garments, fabric, leather goods, machinery parts, tools, books and printed matter, while exports from Finland focus on IT and telecom products.
