Nov 8, 2006 (newstodate): Norway's Park Air Systems has won the tender for new air navigation equipment for Almaty Airport, Kazakhstan.
Park Air Systems beat German contenders in the tender that closed by the end of October, 2006.
The ILS equipment will facilitate Almaty Airport's ICAO Stage III certificatiom that enables the airport to recive aircraft at its new runway at visibility down to between 200 and 50 metres.
