Work started this summer on construction of two new piers with gates equipped with jetbridges, delivered by German provider ThyssenKrupp.
Construction work is planned to be completed by the turn of this year.
Surgut Airport is planning for a major increase in traffic as new routes by Kolavia and VIM-Avia are introduces, including routes to Moscow, St Petersburg, Sochi and other destinations.
