Feb 27, 2006 (newstodate): From February 20, Siberia Airlines has started daily operations on a new route between Moscow and Samara.
Originally planned to be served by the airline's new Boeing 737-500 aircraft, the route will temporarily be operated with TU-154 aircraft as the government has still not released the airline's Boeing aircraft for operations on the route.
Under its fleet modernisation program 2005-2005, the airline has obtained lease agreements for a total of 10 Boeing 737-500 aircraft.
