Mar 31, 2006 (newstodate): Kazakhstan's Air Astana is implementing its decision to reach a fleet of more than 30 aircraft by 2014.
This month the airline took delivery of its first Airbus A320 aircraft to be followed by a further four later this year, all under a lease agreement.
Set up in 2001, Air Astana already operates a fleet of 11 aircraft comprising one Boeing-737-800, two Boeing 737-700, three Boeing 757-200, and five Fokker-50 aircraft.
