New on the agenda is the military airport of Ladevci which will soon be decommisioned.
The Serb govenment plans to invest 3.5 million euro in building a new control tower as a first step towards opening the airport for commercial aviation.
Among other plans is a runway extension that will allow operations by large aircraft, and upgrading of the airport's airnav equipment.
Serbia is currently preparing for the opening of its latest new airport at Ponikve, while an airport near Ecka is also under construction.
