Jun 21, 2006 (newstodate): NAP, Nordic Airport Properties, will start construction of a new cargo terminal at Gothenburg Landvetter Airport by August as earlier announced.
-There is still no conclusion to our negotiations with SAS Cargo/Spirit as to whether or not they will rent part of the premises, but we expext to settle the issue during the summer, and the construction process will not be influenced whether or not SAS decides to join, says Annica Sveholm, NAP project manager.
Plans comprise the construction of a 5,000 sq.m. terminal, with 3,000 sq.m. dedicated to TNT and 2,000 sq.m. tentatively reserved for SAS Cargo/Spirit.
Projecting work on the terminal started in May, and soil excavation will be completed by July-August when the construction work will start.
