Aug 24, 2006 (newstodate): August 24 marks the first flight between Incheon, Korea, and Stockholm by Korean Air Cargo.
As part of a major strategic drive, the carrier will serve Stockholm twice weekly with Boeing 747-400F aircraft.
The new route thus cuts two of Korean's currently five weekly rotations at Copenhagen Airport, leaving the total number of Scandinavian services unchanged.
Since 2004, Korean also serves Oslo, Norway, now offering a thrice weekly service.
With the addition of the Stockholm route, Korean Air now operates cargo flights to 41 cities in 24 countries, and plans are to add one or two more destinations in 2006.
