Nov 21, 2007 (newstodate): The Armenian carrier Armavia is reportedly working on plans to start flights in 2008 between Yeravan, Armenia, and Los Angeles, USA.
Only "some technical issues" remain to be solved before the route can be launched, according to a source.
Also in the pipeline are plans to start routes from Armenia to China and India.
The carrier is owned by Mika Armenia Trading, headed by the Armenian businessman Mikhail Baghdasarov.
