Nov 15, 2007 (newstodate): The Latvian airline Concors has still now succeeded in finding a JV partner for its planned Boeing aircraft maintenance facility at Riga Airport.
The JV was set in April 2006 between Concors and SR Technics, but a management and strategy change in SR Technics led the company to pull out.
-We have no solution, and finding a new partner is the single most crucial task for us, says Leonid Galitch, Concors deputy managing director.
-We need a decision soon and know we have not too much time. Hopefully the problems can be overcome within two or three months from now.
Concors has built a new 6,700 sq m hangar at Riga Airport with 2,000 sq m additional space for repair back shops.
