Dec 18, 2007 (newstodate): The Russian carrier Gazpromavia has added Tomsk as a new destination from Moscow Vnukovo Airport.
The new twice-weekly route was opened by flights with TU-154M aircraft that will be replaced with Boeing 737-700 aircraft shortly.
Gazpromavia, among Russia's top-10 passenger airlines, now operates routes from Moscow Vnukovo to St Petersburg, Sochi, Samara, Belgorod, Beloyarskiy, Nadym, Urengoy, Nukus, and Tyumen, but wil expand further with new domestic and international routes in 2008.
