Feb 12, 2008 (newstodate): Lithuania's Vilnius Airport saw its total cargo volumes up by 3.9 percent, y-o-y, in January, 2008.
In total the airport handled 450 tonnes of cargo, and the increase was entirely driven by a 17.8 percent rise in mail volumes, to 126 tonnes, while cargo stayed practically unchanged against 2007, recording 324 tonnes.
In 2007 the airport's total cargo volumes rose 3.8 percent to 5,780 tonnes, excluding direct transit cargo.
