Sep 5, 2008 (newstodate): IATA's airfreight accounting system CASS, introduced in the Baltic markets in November, 2007, is now developing.
-Lufthansa has taken the lead and expects to go live in all three Baltic markets from October 1, 2008, says Ulla Nilson, CASS Nordic & Baltic manager.
-We hope, of course, that all other airlines will follow suit now that Estonia is ready, too, as the last remaining market in the Baltic region.
All airlines that subscribe to CASS can now send data even in the Baltic markets at no extra cost as Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania are part of CASS Nordic & Baltic.
