Mar 30, 2009 (newstodate): The Latvian airline airBaltic is adding a new Norwegian destination to its route network from this summer's schedule.
Effective from March 31, 2009, the carrier will launch direct flights from Riga to Tromso, above the Polar Circle in Norway.
The new route will be operated four times weekly, using Boeing 737-500 aircraft.
Tromso will become airBaltic's fourth destination in Norway, after Oslo, Bergen and AAlesund.
