May 05, 2009 (newstodate): The Russian carrier Vladivostok Avia is preparing for delivery of its first ex-factory Airbus A330-300 aircraft.
The carrier will receive the first of three Airbus A330 aircraft in the middle of this month, and the aircraft will make its commercial debut on the route between Vladivostok and Moscow on June 9, 2009.
The second A330 is slated for delivery to Vladivostok Avia by October, 2009, with the third aircraft to arrive in March, 2010.
Vladivostok Avia has signed a contract with Asiana Airlines to provide maintenance for the A330-300 as well as for the carrier's five Airbus 320 aircraft.
