Aug 28, 2009 (newstodate): Turkmenistan Airlines has been authorized by the state to place orders for three more Boeing 737 aircraft.
The three Boeing 737-700 aircraft will join the airline's fleet already comprising six Boeing 737 aircraft including one Boeing 737-700, four Boeing 757, one Boeing 767 as well as seven Boeing 717 aircraft, while one Boeing 777 has been ordered for use by state officials.
Turkmenistan was the first CIS country to order Boeing aircraft after the demise of the Soviet Union.
