Aug 27, 2009 (newstodate): The Russian carrier Rossiya and Region-Avia have signed a strategic partnership agreement.
The two airlines will cooperate on developing a tight network of flights to and from St Petersburg, with Region-Avia to feed traffic into St Petersburg and Rossiya's network from Russian destinations with a radius of 850 km, as well as from Scandinavia.
The cooperation and partnership will take effect from summer 2010, and the two parties will announce an expanded network with St Petersburg as its hub.
