Aug 21, 2009 (newstodate): Sweden's Stockholm Arlanda Airport passed this year's first half with a significant decline in air cargo volumes.
A total of 63,439 tonnes of cargo, flown and trucked, was handled at the airport - a decline by 33.9 percent, compared to 2008.
-We must bear in mind, however, that last year was highly uusual with extremely high loads, so the comparison is problematic, says a spokesperson for LFV.
-The trend in volumes seem to have stabilized from May this year, but it remains to be seen, of course, if we are in a recovery and if so, how firm and steady it will be.
