Sep 16, 2009 (newstodate): On September 17, 2009, the Latvian carrier airBaltic will launch two new European non-stop routes from Riga Airport.
The carrier will add Frankfurt as its sixth German destination from Riga, offering daily flights with Boeing 737 aircraft.
For passengers from Frankfurt, the new flight will provide onward connections to flights by airBaltic to final destinations in Scandinavia, the CIS, the Caucasus, and the Middle East.
On the same day the carrier is also introducing Warsaw, Poland, as a new destination on on its route map that has thus grown by 10 new cities in 2009.
