During the year, the total cargo capacity was up by two percent, leading to a drop in the over-all cargo load factor.
Russian carriers thus lifted 863,160 tonnes of cargo, and the country's five leading cargo carrier accounted for 453,787 tonnes of this volume.
The top-five cargo carriers in Russia were AirBridgeCargo Airlines, Volga-Dnepr, Aeroflot-Cargo, Aeroflot and Transero.
The full-year result testifies to the rapid recovery by the end of year in cargo volumes after a dramatic fall by 36.1 percent, y-o-y, in January, and a decline during H1 by 24.5 percent, y-o-y.
