Jan 14, 2010 (newstodate): US carrier Continental is expanding its Norwegian services during the coming summer season.
During the period May 29-September 6, 2010, Continental will add three weekly Boeing 757-200 flights to its all-year program offering daily services between Newark Airport and Oslo Gardermoen Airport.
Continental is the only airline to offer year-round direct trans-Atlantic flights at Oslo Gardermoen Airport.
Continental opened services to Oslo from June 18, 2004, as its launch of services to Scandinavia, later adding flights to Stockholm, Sweden, from June 3, 2005, and to Copenhagen, Denmark, from May 24, 2006.
