Oct 28, 2010 (newstodate): The Palestinian Civil Aviation Authority plans to start the construction of an international airport.
The new airport will be located between Jerusalem and Jericho, and construction works will early in 2011.
The project will rely on investments from international donors, and the airport is designed to have one passenger terminal with six gates, as well as cargo facilities.
