Dec 01, 2010 (newstodate): Long a rumor, Denmark's Billund Airport may soon add a new carrier to its list of operators.
Skyteam member airline Air France has announced its decision to launch services from Paris to Billund airport, introducing three daily rotations from March 27, 2011.
The flights will connect at Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport to Air France's global network comprising more than 200 destinations.
The news of Air France flights follow on an earlier announcement by Icelandair that will also introduce three weekly flights between Billund Airport and Keflavik from June 1, 2011.
