Apr 27, 2010 (newstodate): The Danish carrier and ACMI provider DAT is sending off two ATR 42 full-freighters to Bangalore, India, on Wednesday, April 28, 2010.
DAT has landed a contract with Deccan 360, the Indian express, logistics and distribution company, for the two aircraft that will join the company's fleet of ATR 42 freighters leased from Farnair, Swiftair and now also DAT.
Deccan 360, in the air since May 2009, will be operating three Airbus A310 freighters and six ATR 42 aircraft on a hub-and-spoke traffic network where the ATR freighters feed cargo into the main hubs at Delhi and Hyderabad as well as a new multi-modal international cargo and passenger hub to be built at Nagpur.
