Apr 15, 2010 (newstodate): DHL is flexing its muscles in the western part of Denmark, home to some 80 percent of Denmark's exporting industries.
Since April 6, 2010, the company has stationed one Boeing 757-200F aircraft at Billund Airport, flying in from Leipzig in the morning and going back to Leipzig again in the night, connecting western Denmark more closely to the DHL hub at Leipzig.
By this move, DHL's customers in the region can now benefit from a later deadline for export shipments and earlier access to import shipments.
