Jun 08, 2010 (newstodate): The giant freighter AN-225 Mriya will pay a rare visit to Denmark's Skrydstrup Airport on June 10, 2010.
The aircraft operated by Antonov Airlines will carry two 42 meters wind turbine wing prototypes, produced in China, to Denmark's LM Wind Power for quality assesments at the facility's wind turbine simulator test center.
The operation will register for a Guinness world record as being the world's longest airfreight shipment over the longest distance.
