Aug 02, 2010 (newstodate): A row is reportedly developing over the future ownership of the Finnish domestic carrier, Finncomm Airlines.
The privately-owned carrier is cooperating closely with Finnair that also has a strong stake in the shares, but the Latvian carrier airBaltic has aired its interest in acquiring Finncomm Airlines as part of the strategy of expansion in the Finnish market.
Founded in 1993, Finncomm Airlines is a partner company of Finnair and operates a route network adjusted to feed into Finnair's international flights.
