Jan 14, 2011 (newstodate): The Russian carrier Yamal Airlines, based at Salekhard, is planning for a return to the Czech market.
Effective from the coming summer schedule, Yamal Airlines will offer a weekly rotation on the route between Tyumen Salekhard Airport and Prague Ruzyne Airport, operating Boeing 737-500 aircraft on the route.
Yamal Airlines was earlier serving the route from December 2008, but pulled out again in summer 2010.
Yamal Airlines, headed by Kriuk Vasiliy Nikolayevich, was set up in 1997 in Russia's northermost Siberian region with Salekhard Airport as its home base.
