Nov 10, 2011 (newstodate): Helsinki, in Finland, is to lose its connection to Austria from November 14, 2011.
Austrian Airlines has decided to pull of from its twice-daily Fokker 100 service between Vienna and Helsinki, as well as from the route between Vienna and Milan.
The decision is driven by the need to free aircraft capacity to be allocated instead to increasing frequencies on flights to destinations in the Central European market, including Belgrade, Sofia and Bucharest.
