Nov 03, 2011 (newstodate): Uzbekistan has commissioned a new passenger terminal at the country's Bukhara international Airport.
The new terminal has the capacity of handling 400 passengers per hour, operated by Uzbekistan Airways that is also the owner and manager of the airport.
Bukhara International Airport has one 3,000m runway and handles some 100,000 passengers in 2010.
The terminal project at Bukhara is part of Uzbekistan Airways' ambitious plan for development of the country's airport ground infrastructure, 2011-15.
