Feb 10, 2011 (newstodate): The danish aircraft lease company Nordic Aviation Capital has added another Bombardier Q400 to its portfolio.
The latest addition is one Bombardier Q400 acquired from the factory after having served with the Japanese carrier ANA Wings.
In January 2011, NAC signed a contact with airberlin, comprising a sale and lease-back contract for three pre-owned Dash 8-Q400 aircraft.
The first Q400 contract was signed in December 2010 with the Latvian carrier airBaltic and comprising eight aircraft, and the second comprising four aircraft was signed the same month with the Colombian carrier AIRES.
Based at Billund, Nordic Aviation Capital's current fleet of over 160 aircraft includes the largest leased fleet of ATR aircraft, a growing Bombardier Dash 8 fleet and Boeing 737, CRJ 200, Fokker 50 and Saab 2000 aircraft.
