Feb 11, 2011 (newstodate): The Danish trucking company Jumbo Transport Airline Services, located at Copenhagen Airport is satisfied with performance after its first year in operation.
Starting business in March, 2010, the company is located with offices at DHL Aviations's terminal.
-We have seen the airline market growing in 2010, with positive trends continuing into 2011 as well, and this means that cargo loads have been growing, says Soren Holsbo, Jumbo Transport Airline Services managing director.
-Our customers are still primarily GSAs representing as well as forwarders, and our goal remains to land our first direct airline customer. This is, however, a tough fight, but I would expect the latter part of this year especially to bring new opportunities as some airlines may be re-considering their choice of airline trucking providers after changes in the market.
-Together with our mother company Jumbo Transport, we provide a tight network of Scandinavian and south-going scheduled trucking transport, and another major asset is Jumbo Transport's East European division that grants us access to a range of important destinations in this region. This also comprises offices in Tallinn and Vilnius providing a Baltic presence, says Mr Holsbo.
