Latest, and Asia's first, new operator of the A380 is Korean Air that has now received its first of a total of 11 A380 ordered, and they are all expected to be in place by 2014.
Korean Air has thus become the sixth airline to operate this aircraft type, bringing to total number of deliveries so far to 49 units, and Airbus expects to complete between 20 and 25 A380 in 2011.
Another Asian carrier is now preparing also to recieve its first A380 - MAS that will take in its first of six A380 in 2012.
MAS expects to take delivery of five of these aircraft in 2012, with the last delivery in 2013.
