Jun 08, 2011 (newstodate): Plans for the future development of Russia's Krasnoyarsk Yemelyanovo Airport has been revised and down-sized.
The original master-plan was developed in 2005 by Dornier Consulting and foresaw traffic to grow to 8.5 mio annual passengers in 2020.
The prognosis was built on the expected development by KrasAir and the AiRUniuon that since went bankrupt in 2008.
The new, revised master-plan is designed by Hochtief Airport and sees prospects for 3.4 mio annual passengers in 2030 - three times today's volume.
In the plans now is the development of parallel taxiways to boost the capacity of the airport's 3,700m runway, new passenger terminals, a new apron and new aircraft parking stands.
