Sep 22, 2011 (newstodate): Copenhagen Airport is set to lose its only direct non-stop connection to Sofia, in Bulgaria.
Effective from October 27, 2011, Cimber Sterling will cancel flights on the route that is currently served with three weekly rotations.
From August 29, 2011, the carrier also canceled flights since March 29, 2010, on the route between Copenhagen and Belgrade, in Serbia.
Flights from Copenhagen to Belgrade are now offered by JAT, while WIZZ Air provides flights to Belgrade from near-by Malmo Sturup Airport, in Southern Sweden.
