Oct 29,2012 (newstodate): Afghanistan's national air carrier Ariana Afghan Airlines has signed a maintenance contract with Lithuania's FL Technics.
Under the contract, FLO Technics will provide the carrier with engineering services for its four Boeing 737 aircraft.
According to the agreement, FL Technics will provide Aircraft and Component Inspections, Interim Engineering and Maintenance Management, Continuous Airworthiness Management as well as Non-Destructive Testing, Data Management, and other services.
Most of the services, designed under the EASA Part M approval, will be delivered at the FL Technics main base in Vilnius, Lithuania.
Among the maintenance provider's existing customers in the regional are already Kyrgyzstan Airlines, Somon Air, Tajik Air, Scat and Air Bishkek.
