Oct 18, 2012 (newstodate): There seems to be no imminent stop to the tug-of-war going on between airline and airport in Armenia.
The national carrier Armavia is building a debts pile due Yerevan Zvartnots Airport, causing the airport to suspend all Armavia flights again earlier this week.
Armavia has now, however, transferred some of the money due to the airport, and the ban has now been lifted on the airline's operations.
Armavia has also had problems with payments for acquisition and maintenance of its Superjet 100 aircraft that was arrested for a prolonged period by Sukhoi in Russia before being finally released again earlier this month.
