Nov 05, 2012 (newstodate): The first Airbus A320 aircraft has rolled into the maintenance facility at Romania's aviation services provider, Aerostar.
The aircraft is operated by the Greek carrier Sky Wings and is now undergoing a maintenance program comprising a C-Check, complete landing gear replacement and embodiment of all Airworthiness Directives and Service Bulletins.
Since diversifying into commercial aircraft MRO for Boeing 737 in December 2004, Aerostar has completed more than 200 C- and D-checks for over 20 airlines from Europe, the Middle East, Africa and India, and earlier this year Aerostar was awarded with EASA Part 145 approval for the Airbus A320 aircraft family.
