May 22, 2012 (newstodate): Following on the announcement from the Danish carrier SUN-Air about opening of flights between Billund in Denmark and Bergen in Norway, another carrier is stepping into the same tracks.
The Faroese carrier Atlantic Airways is currently operating seasonal flights between the Faroe Islands and Bergen and will continue operations all year round from the coming winter schedule.
By then, the carrier will also add Billund to the map, offering two weekly rotations on the routing Vagar Airport-Billund Airport-Bergen-Vagar Airport.
BA-franchise carrier SUN-AIR will however still lead the race with five weekly rotations from June 10, 2012, between Billund and Bergen.
