May 7, 2012 (newstodate): Air Greenland has now taken delivery of two last Bombardier Dash-8 Q200 aircraft ordered.
This brings the total of these aircraft to five, replacing the remaining fleet of Dash-7 aircraft that are now being phased out after serving with the carrier since the 80'ies.
Air Greenland operates one Airbus A330-200 on its Atlantic route to Copenhagen, and in the fleet are also a total of 22 rotary-wing aircraft operating the country's domestic route network.
In 2014, Air Greenland will also take delivery of two new Eurocopter EC225 Super Puma helicopters, replacing the two last remaining S-61N helicopters used on the domestic trunk routes.
