Sep 18, 2012 (newstodate): Starting from spring 2013, Estonian Air will offer flights from Estonia to London City Airport.
Effective from March 1, 2013, Estonian Air will operate three weekly rotation on the route between Tallinn Airport and London City Airport, using Embraer 190 aircraft.
Already from May 2, 2013, frequency will be increased to four rotation, going further up to six rotations from June 1, 2013.
Behind the new route is the delivery in Q1, 2013, to Estonian Air of its first two of five new Embraer 190 aircraft, four of which will be delivered on a lease contract with GE Capital Aviation Services.
Estonian Air has announced that it will stop operating its route between Tallinn and London Gatwick from October 15, 2012, and the carrier says that at this moment it has no plans for a return of the Gatwick Airport service after the start of the new route to London City Airport.
