Dec 13, 2013 (newstodate): The Russian carrier UTAir has seen sustained good developments in 2013.
During the first 11 months of this year, the carrier has transported a total of 8,944,282 passengers, an increase by 13.4 percent, y-o-y.
Cargo-wise, UTAir has also seen volumes up by 2.9 percent during the period, to 26,295 tonnes.
In its extensive rotary-wing traffic, UTAir further lifted 134,694 tonnes of cargo and another 730,857 passengers.
Under its ongoing fleet renewal strategy, UTair took delivery of three new Airbus A321 and one Boeing 737-800NG aircraft this year and is expecting the delivery of one more A321 aircraft.
In 2014 the airline is scheduled to receive 22 new aircraft from several manufacturers, including six new Russian Sukhoi Superjet 100 aircraft.
