Feb 01, 2013 (newstodate): Chapman Freeborn is moving its Nordic head office to new premised close to Copenhagen Airport from the start of 2013.
Chapman Freeborn established its Nordic presence with the opening of the office in Denmark from March 2011 with Kim Borgaard as Chapman Freeborn Regional Sales Manager Nordic, adding a new sales office in Sweden with Christian Stridsberg as sales manager Sweden from August 2012.
-We have come off to a strong start in the Nordic region, and with more than 60 operations in the region in 2012 we landed fully up to budgets, says Mr Borgaard.
-Operations in 2012 comprised both freighter and passenger segments, with freighter operations spanning from small taxi-aircraft carrying urgent light shipments to heavy freighter flights. Also passenger operations grew in volume, including brokering of the Boeing 777 flights for SAS between Copenhagen and Newark during summer 2012.
-So all in all, we are rather optimistic about prospects for 2013, and plans are now for Christian Stridsberg to monitor the Finnish market from the Swedish office, while I will myself invest resources in a similar move into the Norwegian market where the oil and gas industries represent booming and expanding business opportunities.
-After these monitorings we may consider finalizing new strategies for these Nordic markets to make sure that we are always at the right places at the right moment - and with a visible profile, says Mr Borgaard.
